who

leif · artist · programmer · both at once
I'm an artist and programmer based in the Aurora/Plainfield, IL area. BS in Computer Science (Aurora University), BFA (School of the Art Institute of Chicago).
I make tapestries, zines, paintings, glitch art, and weird candy. I also spent 18 years at TVAccess — a company that produces and tracks nonprofit public service announcements — handling their software, database, and web reporting end to end. I ran the PostgreSQL backend, built the reporting tools, and migrated their entire system off a Business Basic machine without losing a single record.
These days I'm the office manager at a small UCC church, where I'm the translator between people and the software that's supposed to help them.
I've gotten patient with it. That patience is what you're hiring.

Send a few sentences about what you need. Doesn't have to be polished. "My Squarespace eats my photos" is a fine first message.
